When you choose a Viking cue, not only are you getting a superbly crafted, straight instrument, but one of unique beauty as well, like in the Viking VX10 pool stick. Stained Birdseye Maple on the forearm and sleeve is decorated with inlay points of half vermillion, a red colored African wood, and half ebony in a zigzag design. A black Irish linen wrap with red specks plays up the vermillion color for smooth transitions to these sections, which are coated in a UV polyurethane finish to keep the woods and inlays from fading. The cue offers a soft to medium hit due to the plastic joint and collar, and the proprietary ferrule material and pro taper shaft supplies great cue ball control and shot accuracy. In business since 1965, Viking is the oldest manufacture of cue sticks made in the USA. With the exception of the tips, weight bolts and bumpers, Viking manufactures all of the materials used to make their cues. Pro players including Dawn Hopkins, Denny Coulter and Larry Nevel play with Viking cues.Weight Changes: Viking cues have a changeable weight system.
